We are thrilled to share the results of our 7th Annual Soccer Parent Survey! This year, we heard from 965 parents across 43 states, and we are incredibly grateful for the time and honesty each of you shared.
As members of the Soccer Parenting movement are keenly aware, the annual survey is a big deal for us. It drives our mission to support parents, coaches, and clubs in creating the best possible environment for our players. Our hope is that by reviewing the results and listening to one another, we can continue to move the needle on the youth soccer experience.

Becoming Difference Makers
One of the most heartening takeaways from this year’s report is the enduring “Love of the Game” seen in our children. Despite the various friction points we face—whether it’s the referee shortage or financial pressures—the core of youth soccer remains a child with a ball and a dream.
The friction points identified in this report cannot be solved by policy alone. It requires a commitment to education and a willingness for all adults—parents, coaches, and leaders—to step back and evaluate our roles in the ecosystem. By moving to a reflective mindset, we become “Difference Makers.”
As we look toward the 2026 World Cup, we have a unique moment in time to ensure our “systems” support, rather than stress, that love of the game.
