Football Family Fan Tour Details:
- We will attend 3 men’s Premier League matches and 3 men’s Championship (or lower) matches. Note: the women’s league is not playing in this window. Final game schedules will be posted in October, so game schedule and trip itinerary will be finalized at that time. (In years past we have attended matches at Chelsea, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Everton, Leeds, Bury, Westham, Aston Villa, QPR, and more.)
- We will be based in 4-star hotel(s) in London and maybe the North of England this year (we won’t know final itinerary until the games schedules are finalized). Tour attendees are responsible for flights in/out of London (arrive morning of December 27 and depart January 3).
- All transportation during the tour – from the first meeting at the hotel on the 27th, to our wrap up event on January 2 will be covered.
- All breakfasts and some dinners are covered.
- Sightseeing events will be covered. We want the sightseeing and history to be a focus of the trip – so we work hard to be sure this element is always a focus of our planning.
- Players, if they want, will have an opportunity to train with a local coach and play in a relaxed setting with local youth players 1-2 times during the trip.
- Coaches on the trip will have a coach education event led by a local coach/coach educator.
- The trip is open to everyone: families, individuals, couples, coaches, players. If you love football, this trip is for you.
- All match tickets are included.
- Two stadium tours (in the past we have toured Liverpool, Wembley, Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Manchester United and others)
- The tour is managed by GoPlay Sports Tours.
- We will have an engaging, professional tour manager with us every step of the way.
- If you’d like additional hotel days added to your itinerary, that can be coordinated.
- Families of four or larger will receive adjoining rooms, and in some cases, you can have 3 in a room.
