More About Mark O’Sullivan
Mark O’Sullivan is a Cork-born football coach and researcher known for his innovative approaches to youth development. He served as the Head of Youth Development at AIK Stockholm, where he was at the forefront of new coaching methodologies aimed at enhancing how young athletes learn and perform.
Currently, Mark is an Associate Professor of Football and Researcher at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, specializing in skill acquisition, coaching, and talent development. His academic journey includes a PhD from Sheffield Hallam University, focusing on performance analysis and talent development. Mark’s work has been featured in various media outlets, and he is recognized as a thought leader in challenging traditional coaching norms to better serve young athletes.
